When thinking of a place to dine-in or ordering takeout, do you research them a bit in terms of reviews? In the last year, according to a new YouGov poll, two in five Americans have done just that.
The poll also showed that most, 54%, trusted review such review sites. A majority of consumers said reviews sites were useful – 21% very useful, 57% somewhat useful.
Other items consumers used review sites for included movies (21%), travel accommodations (16%), places to work (16%), and travel destinations (15%).
