Katy Perry appeared as a mermaid in the new promotional film for Resorts World Las Vegas.
The “Stay Fabulous” commercial features Perry along with Celine Dion, Carrie Underwood, Luke Bryan, Tiësto and Zedd.
Sources told Billboard in March that Perry was planning to start a residency at The Theater In Resorts World later this year and that it would continue into 2022.
The “Firework” singer shared some behind-the-scenes shots from the ad on Saturday (April 24th) that showed her in her mermaid costume and captioned it, “A tuna behind the scenes of our very soFISHticated @resortsworldlv splash”.
Resorts World is Las Vegas will open on June 24th and is the ffirst all-new casino-resort on the Strip in more than a decade. The 5,000-capacity theater will run as a joint development in partnership with AEG Presents.
