Driver not included in your next pizza delivery! Pizza chain Domino’s is rolling out robot delivery cars — yes, self-driving robot cars!
The program will start in Houston and costumers will get their orders without a delivery person. How does it work? Once the self-driving car gets to your house, you enter a number specifically given to you for the order on the vehicle’s touchscreen, then the doors open up and give you your food.
Some are calling this a ‘game-changer’ in the pizza industry. Domino’s hopes to expand the self-delivery program in the future.
