Metallica's James Hetfield took on an acoustic cover of Bob Seger's “Turn The Page” during his appearance at the VetsAid livestream benefit on Saturday (Dec. 12th). Before singing, Hetfield expressed his gratitude saying, “Those who serve our country and those who put themselves on the line — mentally, physically, spiritually . . . Not just them — first responders, military and the families along with them. So, thank you so much for what you do and your sacrifices.”

Metallica previously covered “Turn The Page” on their 1998 album Garage Inc.

Other acts who participated in the fourth annual VetsAid, founded by Joe Walsh, included Alice Cooper, Jon Bon Jovi and Eddie Vedder.
