Dolly Parton is planning to release A Holly Dolly Christmas, this fall! Rumor has it, the album includes a number of celebrity collaborations.
She shared with WSM radio, “I have just finished a Christmas album called A Holly Dolly Christmas, and it’s coming out in the fall. I’m doing a duet with Michael Bubl, a duet with Billy Ray Cyrus, a duet with Jimmy Fallon, a duet with Miley Cyrus, a duet with my brother Randy, and my niece Heidi is singing on that with us also.”
“Then I’m doing several Christmas classics like ‘I Saw Mama Kissing Santa Claus’ and ‘Circle of Love’ from my Christmas of Many Colors movie,” she further reveals.
Parton says that the ongoing pandemic has allowed her time to work on a number of projects at the same time, including writing music for a Broadway musical and co-writing a book with author James Patterson.
She also says she is also working on expanding her already bustling brand with “perfumes and wigs and clothes and that sort of thing.”
She went on to say, “I’m not retiring like some people I know.”
